    Hi there.

I want to get a small LCD TV to act as both a TV and PC monitor.

Originally I thought it would be easy and any LCD TV with a VGA input would do. Then I noticed that some only support 600x400 which is not of much use for gaming etc.

I have now finally found one that suports a maximum of 1024x768 which seems to fit the bill.

    A couple of questions though

    a) it talks about 16,722,216 colours (8 bit). Do you think that means it will only support '8bit' which I assume is not much good? For instance the desktop settings on my laptop are currently set at '32 bit'.

    b) Does this criteria even matter when running games?
