Looking for a 17" or so cheap LCD tv for the bedroom that could be used if pushed as a monitor for an old Apple Macintosh (PowerMac 7300 with 604e processor). Any ideas, and is it possible anyway with this machine?

Is that one of the Macs with the old big connector? DB15 I think is the port?

You can get an adapter off eBay for a couple of quid to turn it into a VGA port.

Yes I'm using one of those adapters at present to connect a LaCie Electron, I was more concerned about the software/drivers needed.

I wouldn't worry, it should just come up as a generic monitor.

That's what happened when I connected an old Apple CRT (manufactured in 1995) into a new iBook. More than likely works the other way round.
