I am in the market for a new tv and the lcd's have really got my attention. One reason for me getting a new tv is for the xbox 360, so I would like a tv that will play games well. Currently I am looking at the 26" and 32" Sharp Aquos, and the 26" and 32" JVC lcd tv's. Do you prefer one over the other for gaming? Before looking at lcd's I was also looking at 30" HD-TV widescreen CRT's (sony and toshiba in particular) that have 720p and 1080i. Would a CRT be better suited for gaming over the lcd? Thanks

I don't think you can get a proper native HD CRT telly, can you?

Some of them claim to be able to handle the HD input but I think there's quite a lot of scaling and other conversion going on.

For Hi Def Xbox 360 gaming you're better off with an LCD IMO. If you're looking at 26" then there's loads of good ones.

    What's your price range/budget?
