    Just a quick query.

I realise that LCD is developing technology, but in the past it has been condemned slightly for poor quality of movies on LCD. I imagine the quality today is very much dependent on manufacturer, but what is picture quality like for movies on LCDs?

Are the new JVCs and Philips models okay to play films on now - for the prices they charge I would certainly hope so!

Movies via DVD would give the best pictures available on a LCD TV (Sometimes digital TV can look rather poor).

Just make sure you use a decent DVD player and try to use a SCART cable to connect up - one costing at least £30.

You should get happy results there.
