I didnt know quite where to post this so i apologise if im in the wrong section.
I just bought an lcd monitor for my pc and would like to use it as a tv monitor or for plugging my ps2 into i heard that there are adaptors available. Can anyone help please...its a samsung monitor if that helps

I had this very same problem and the only way that i found to do it was to buy a unit from Gadmei via eBay for about £20. It deinterlaces the PS2 signal and allows it to display on the LCD monitors via the VGA connector (Not DVI).

They also allow you to view TV channels through the LCD, via a regular Aerial.

Thats the one i got, but you can also get ones with built in freeview.

As for quality, it's not that great but i find it playabe, even with fast moving images (such as a constantly scrolling game like Pro Evolution Soccer, or racing games like Gran Turismo). It's nowhere near as sharp as it was when i had it running through an RGB scart and a regular CRT TV.

You can buy official Sony VGA cables, but be warned that these will only work with very few PS2 games that support it - such as the LINUX PS2 disk (not really a game!)

Hope this helps, i struggled to find all that info so just took the plunge.
