I´ve just received my first LCD projector and haven´t even had the time to properly test it.

But has I glanced through the (several) manuals I was impressed to see that in every one there was at least a page dedicated to the subject of lamp break.

What worries me is the possibility of mercury leakage (through the vents) which could be extremelly harmful to the health of whoever inhales it.

Should I consider this to be a real possibility? Has anyone ever experienced lamp break or heard of it happening?
