Probably committing a cardinal sin by posting the same question in 2 forums, but here goes.
I've just bought a Tosh 32WL48 and want to hook up my PS2. Assumed that the standard Sony component cable would be the best thing going then saw that IXOS make a PS2 SCART cable - more expensive & known good make. I don't really know the pros & cons of different connections so can anyone help? Which is better - SCART from the specialists or component from Sony? Or - does anyone know of a 3rd party that manufactures high quality PS2 component cables?

I have the Ixos SCART lead, and the Sony Component lead.

The Sony is a lot better IMO, but the Ixos cable feels a lot better quality. I find that the component output on the PS" gives a more vivid image, and far less jaggy edges. I would expect the Ixos component lead to be better still.

I am using the SCART into my plasma, and the component into my LCD.

The Ixos Component cable is excellent, although the first one i got had a loose connection on the ps2 end which was very annoying.. thankfully its replacement works beautifully though.
