    Either 30" or 32". Max £1000.

What's the best for watching low-quality analogue cable?

Don't care about computers, etc., want good analogue performance.

A lot of the cheaper LCDs seem to have poor analogue performance relative to digital sources cited in reviews.

Most LCDs are poor for analogue compared to digital, but if you'll only ever be watching analogue or dvds, then go with the new "PAL Optimized" Sharps. They're roughly the same resolution as the broadcast, so there's barely any scaling involved, meaning you should get a sharper picture out of them.

They won't cope with high definition content as well as other LCDs though, but you have to choose one or the other really.
