Not realy sure where to post this...I seem ot be having a problem with the Advent 17' LCD screen connected to my PC. When the LCD is on the 60Hz hum can be heard through some larger speakers connected to my PC only. As i change the frequency at which the monitor runs at, I can hear the hum changing pitch. I have tried plugging the amp for the speakers in a socket in another room using an extension lead, but the hum is still just as audable. When the LCD monitor is turned off, all hum dissapears.

Any ideas to combat this would be much appreaciated
