I'm going round a mates house this Saturday and will be spending the evening drinking and parked infront of his home cinema set up.

We plan to watch both "Silence Of The Lambs" and "Hannibal", but have been inconvenienced by the fact that the region 2 release of the latter is not until Monday.

So I went to the Cinema Store (in Upper Martins Lane London, opposite Stringfellows) and bought a region 1 import at an over inflated price of £29.95

Yes, I know I'm lazy, impatient with more money than sense, but at least we get to watch a double bill of Dr L this weekend.

Needs must when the devil drives, so my Gran use to say.

Thats what personal choice is all about

I hope you are not disapointed by HANNIBAL. I have just reciecved my R1 version from Play and will be watching it shortly. ( 15.99 not wanting to rub salt into any wounds )

I really enjoyed the film when I saw it at the cinema and much prefered it to the book. I am still not convinced that the novel was even written by the same Author who penned the other two BRILLIANT books.

IMHO this time the movie is better.

    Hope you enjoy your films

    Dirk,

Why not make it a triple-bill, and watch "Manhunter" prior to both the other movies?! That would be one hell of an evenings viewing!
