Layout of speakers in a room

Hi

First off i am sorry if this is the wrong section for this.Basicly I want to know if this set-up for speakers is ok.The speakers will be mounted just under the coving.It is a 7.1 set-up.There is a bench under the tv so there is no place for the sub apart from at the back,is this ok?

Looks ok, assuming the chair is your listening position and facing the tv. Sub is fine at the back as it is.

As Moonfly says, should be OK, but you could possibly move the fronts closer to the TV, and move the rear surrounds to back wall (facing the fronts) - assuming there is space above the wardrobe).

Yes there is room above the wardrobe so they could be moved there if needed,my main concern was the sub.
