    Hi,

Just been into HMV this morning, and noticed the latest UK DTS-encoded DVD is now available. Shame that it's a pretty poor movie though.

Momentum Pictures have chosen to give Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Damme's sci-fi stinker "Universal Soldier" both a DTS and DD5.1 soundtrack. However, unless you read the small print on the back of the packaging under "Soundtracks" (I think), you wouldn't know that DTS even existed, as there are no logo's or labels mentioning its existance.

Ah well.... maybe one day, we'll get R2 discws of quality films released in DTS instead of crap like this..... Yeah - and hell might freeze first! :D :D

It is strange that the most recent R2 dts DVD's have not had any markings on the packaging saying that they are. The eiv disc of Little Nicky is actually a much better disc than the R1 with dts and some added extras that the US didn't get. But you would never know it from the packaging!
