I've tried the 29.42 dets, & they seem better for gaming & benchmarking.

I'm happy with them, BUT

I can't get Powerstrip to work with them.

Tried everything, uninstalled the old drivers, uninstalled Powerstrip, reinstalled everything, set up custom resolution (856x480 for AE-100),

    rebooted, no resolution.

I'm having to use the default Microsoft drivers (Win XP) for projector watching, & the new dets for gaming

Anyone else tried the new drivers with Powerstrip?

BTW, currently using a GeForce 2 GTS, GeForce 4 Ti 4200 arriving early next week.

Some time ago, nvidia changed the way the refresh was handled. This stopped a number of programs working with them correctly.

I think it was a 28.xx version but it may have been an early 29.xx.

Just installed the 29.60 detonator drivers (take note, the setup file doesn't work, manually install this driver),

    reinstalled the newer Powerstrip 3.18,

hey presto, custom resolutions restored ;)

Off to watch DVD now, whick will it be
