    After a freezin day out to try out differing settings and test out my new tripod I got for Chrimbo here are a few of the days results, not as sharp as I wanted but Im still using the kit lens 95% of the time.

    Really like the B&W one, nice conversion and a great sky

    Scarily enough it is HDR but very subtle use, I prefer it that way.

    #1 is great but I struggle with the focus on #2 - although I love the idea.

    I take your point it is kinda difficult to see what the point of the picture is.

    Very nice sky in #1 & a good B&W conversion.
    I like #2 - lovely texture in it.

    The second is a bit tricky trying to work out what the main focus is, the rock or the shell, but that rock really is gorgeous!
