    Has anyone seen ''Last House on the Left,'' - 1972

    What video aspect is the dvd in?.

    Is it worth getting?.



    Also is E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial - Ultimate Gift Box Set Limited Edition (1982) worth £39?

    It's 1.85:1, but as it was shot on 16mm it's not going to look too great compared to modern films. It looks good for what it is, but the film itself is terrible. I've never liked it although it still has plenty of fans. MGM have pushed the boat out with the US disc though, so if you're a fan of old 70's exploitation films you'll be in hog heaven. If you're expecting to be shocked and appalled by it though, you'll be disappointed. The only shocking or appalling things about Last House... are the direction, the acting, the music, the script....

    Don't expect anything much and you might find something rewarding in it, but the reputation writes cheques the film can't cash. That's my view anyway.
    It's still got plenty of admirers though, just as many as think it's throwaway pap.
