Hi, I have a large Laser Disk Collection and my concern is that should I have trouble with my player I shall not be able to obtain another. So I wish to transfer them to DVD. My thoughts are to purchase a Panasonic DRM-E85EBS or similar HD/Recorder.

Any thoughts on best way to achieve the best transfer of my collection. Will I need to obtain leads which will by pass Macrovision protection?

    Any suggestions appreciated

    Peter

Laserdiscs aren't copy protected so just make sure you use good quality cables between the players and remember to record pal as pal, ntsc as ntsc etc when you set up to record.

As long as you avoid Toshiba, you should have no trouble with NTSC.A HDD model will assist greatly when joining the 2 sides seamlessly
