Large screen, small budget?

Hi folks,

We are after a plasma for our bedroom. We are used to a 59 inch Samsung plasma but moving that to the front room, so we need one for the bedroom.

What is a best buy for a 50-60" screen size. Doesn't have to have any bells and whistles or 3d, just a nice picture, size and price

Budget is around £500.

Don't think you'll find full HD cheaper, could go HD ready for less perhaps

Certainly not going to get bigger if wanting new and a cheap working 60" will be like hens teeth
I'm assuming you have a very big bedroom!

50X50 is a nice set, a friend has the 42" version and it looks great

I went to RS and bought the LG in the end after they said the picture difference between it and the Panasonic was substantial although slightly more expensive we are very happy with it

Yes sorry they said the difference between the cheaper Panny and the LG were a world apart and to go for the LG.

Haha were used to a 60 inch in the bedroom
