    I have the following equipment:
    Denon AVCA1SE
    B&W CDM9NT front pair
    B&W CDMCNT centre
B&W CDMSNT two pairs for rear effects wall mounted.
    REL Stadium III Subwoofer.

I sit 6metres from the centre channel.
Side speakers are 1.2 metres high and sit centrally between these.
Rear speakers are approx 1.5 metres behind.

I also tried MK setup which I would not recommend. We felt there was nothing coming from the rear speakers.
Also B&W CDM7NT but preferred the overall sound of this system to the MK effort but these were blown away by the CDM9s which are also excellent when listening to CDs as a stereo pair.
I did not audition the Yamaha amp as I have had them before but did not use all the functionality. The Denon also has a discreet mode to keep wife and kids happy when watching movies at night.
At the end of the day go with what your ears tell you but please at least listen to the B&W [IMG]

My room is 30 feet (9.144m) long by 20 feet (6.096m) wide by 12 feet (3.6576m) high which is 7200 cubic feet (203.76 cubic metres).

I would like to know what system you would recommend for a room of this size.

Would you recommend the Yamaha DSP-AX1 and Kef Q50 speakers?
