Laptop to Plasma

If i connect my laptop to plasma via s/video to s/video/scart i get a blurry picture, I always have done even on my normal tv ( s/vid to s/vid )
So if i plug a VGA cable in will i get a better quality of picture ?
Or is there some other way ?

I've always had shocking results when connecting a PC via S-video, as you say the picture is extremely blurry and very 'soft' focus.

You should get much sharper results using the VGA socket instead.

s-video versus VGA on a plasma is like night and day. VGA is infinitely better, don't even think about s-video!

I always get amazing piture on mine with 22 metre vga cable, s vid was always rubbish.
