Laptop PVR

    Hi,

    Has anyone attempted to use a laptop with a USB hauupage PVR ? Apart form the disk size restrictions can anyone think of a reasont his shouldn't work ?

    The svideo outputs on laptops aren`t usually up to much (usually noisy and a bit soft), that`s one thing to consider

    Thanks Chris,

    I would want to record from my sky box. So I would presume that there is a coax into the USB PVR and then an s-video connection from the laptop back to the TV ? ( apologies for the stupid questions......)

    svideo from sky would be better if you can, and the same from the laptop to the tv.
