Ive ordered the Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D7830 Laptop which should arrive next week and I want to use it as a HCPC with my Panny AE200.
Basically which cables will I need to connect the lappy to the PJ and which programs should I use to get the best results.
Im a complete noob to HCPC so I dont know which software players I should use or how to set the custom resolutions up so please go easy on me :D
Also has anybody got one of the M-Audio USB cards or any other manufacturers? Are they any good?

Laptops aren't the most popular for HCPCs TBH.

To connect to your AE200, you'll be using a VGA cable (standard PC monitor cable). Whether or not you'll achieve 1:1 pixel mapping is entirely down to the laptop's graphics chipset.

The settings using Powerstrip have been posted here again recently. They're the same as those for the AE100 IIRC & are posted repeatedly. Try a search in the PJ forum.

It's a start for you anyway.

    Best of luck.

Thanks...Unfortunately theyve stopped making this laptop now. Anyone know of others around the £900 mark.

ATI or Nvidia? Ive been told that those with integrated graphics are poo!! :D
