laptop help needed

heys, sorry if this gets asked all the time but my friend wants to buy a laptop and need some info on best place to get it from!

budget is about £500 and it will just be used for basic internet access and itunes etc, no gaming or video editing things!

any help appreciated.

How about Dell?
Not particularly state of the art, but fairly configurable on their website and pretty competetive prices
Seeing as you only have basic requirements, they could do a job.
