Is it possible to buy a laptop pc which I can also use to connect to my sony hs10 (DVI if poss). You see I would be able to use the laptop for normal use also and when watching DVD via hs10 I could stop /start the film easier than with a desktop pc. Also for the sound I would like to continue using my Pioneer dcs303 all in one dvd player so the laptop would have to have audio 5.1 optical/electrical.
    Is there such a beast.

Also I wonder why the dedicated DVD players cannot perform as well as a HCPC, after all they only have to process the signals & not do other things which a PC has to.
