    Hi all,

Anyone attempted to stream 1080p MKV content wireless to their Pana' GT-50?

Reason being, I have a netgear 200mbps home plugs and certain MKV films stutter.

I've got the bog standard sagem supplied sky wireless router.

I've identified the bottleneck to be my net-gear home plug (connected the NAS to the router which was then connected directly to the Pana' TV - and streamed with no stutter).

I have attempted wi-fi using my Sky router and was worse - as doesn't support G band and limits to 80211.g, I believe.

I'm thinking of upgrading the sky router for a gigabit dual band router for e.g. an Asus RT-N66.

Was wondering if that could boost video streaming via wi-fi. I've read the Pana' TV supports 80211.n G band?

Works out cheaper to upgrade the homeplugs to 500mbps ?

I think but I am not sure but MKV files are not very compatible with Panasonic equipment.
    AVI normally is ok though.

As I have a Pana' GT-50 TV I can verify that MKV films/containers work well and AVI is NOT compatible.
