Unless this varies from product to product can anyone tell me what someone would mean if they were selling a projector that and describe it as 679 lamp hours ? 679 lamp hours used or 679 lamp hours remaining?

If it makes a difference this product is an Optoma DS305R DLP Projector

Thanks for replies,

Oscar

If you think about it, it can't be time remaining, because nobody knows how long the bulb will last.

The oft quoted 2,000 hours is only an average. :lesson:

Remember, the lamp/hrs usage is not always reliable and can 'easily' be reset .(even at a deeper level then the standard menu reset facility).
