Anyone else hooked on these guys like me?

IMO one the BEST metal bands to come out in recent years!

Very Slayer-esque, in as far as you can hear a lot of Slayer in their music, but also notably different, which is refreshing...

One thing I think makes me like them so much is the slight prog element they have... Their music is intricate and techincal enough to keep the technical playing fans mezmorised(sp) but also not so in your face so as to exclude non-musical/musician fans or spoil the overall sound...

Plus I am going to see them in Nov - cna't wait!!!!!

Been close to buying one of the albums, but after I had a few listens it just sounded like another high speed metal band with progressive leanings and roaring vocals. Another Mastodon type band (which I quite like but find that extended listening can be hard even if I do own both latest albums).

Yeah I like them, though I only own 'Ashes of the Wake'

There is a lot of these type of metal bands around at the moment. I think they hold their own though, one of the better current metal bands I would say.
