....has sadly passed away in hospital, I really cannot see how this was not reported to ground troops, forget the error of putting it on computer, why is there no radio contact or phone call, A young lady and her partner/boyfriend die and there seems to be no discernible reason for it to be both of them.

We'll never know if the accident was purely responsible for her passing but being left there for many days certainly did not help, my thoughts are with her family and young children. :(

Three days without water apparently contributed to kidney damage.
I think cutbacks are a factor in these kinds of mistakes and there are others that we don't hear about.

Sounds more like incompetence by the person who took the call...if it was "cutbacks" surely the phone wouldn't have been manned.

If incompetence is proven, they should go for a man slaughter charge if there's evidence that one or more of the victims would of survived if attended to in a timely fashion.

If someone is overloaded mistakes will happen so if there is a charge then those who create the situation are mostly responsible.

Another reason why cutbacks are causing deaths. Horrible way to be.

    RIP.

I think everyone who seen that car but thought someone else will report it need to think harder, we should all report this until it has police tape or police aware stickers.

    Agreed.
There have been a few times when I have reported something e.g. a car dumped in the business park where I worked, just a phone call.

I agree and why I am incredulous that I am £160 better off after the budget. When public services are slashed, you raise taxes to help pay for them. WTF is the government thinking?

It cant be all put down to 'cut backs'. Calls will be rated and as it was serious should have been put to the top of the list, cut backs or not. Sounds more like human error to me but guess that's what the investigation will confirm.

From what I've read it also sounds like the car may of been out of view from the motorway? Either way if i saw a crashed car on the motorway I'd probably assume it's already being dealt with - which is wrong of me.

Unfortunately i had experienced a similar situation when i was younger (about 14 years ago). Some one i know experienced a heart attack on the motorway, when we called for an ambulance there was a mix up on which town/city had sent one. Unfortunately both thought the other had sent one as it was on the boundaries of each area, as a result meant a massive delay before an ambulance arrived.

If someone had reported it you would of thought they would of sent both police and an ambulance to a road accident, strange that neither attended. Which again would indicate it's more to do with the way the call was handled.
