I'd like these too, especially Labyrinth as the version released at present only has Dolby 2.0 sound.

Dark Crystal though apparently has some good special features, and also features 5.1 sound.

Does anyone have these instock at the moment?

    Hi,

I think these 2 are great films for their time. I personally like extras, especially like the 'making of's', and special effects extras.

I assume the superbits will be vanilla versions, void of extras.

Pull up a page with these two films and see if you want better picture and sound against the extras if any on the originals.

Suppose there is no sign of the 2 disc superbits yets.

Play have R2 The Dark Crystal in stock and it's only £6.99 (same spec as the R1 SE) - I ordered this one myself yesterday and it was posted the same day.

www.dvdreview.com have a review of the new superbit version and apparently it does offer a noticeable difference in pic quality. The DD5.1's the same as the SE release, but it adds a DTS audio stream for those that want it.
