KV32fx66 bowing slightly

    my screen is bowing slightly as the picture shows from the centre,also i noticed just the right last quarter drops and dips down slightly,anyone know the correct settings to adjust in the service menu?

    If it's an upward horizontal bowing effect at the bottom of the screen, you probably won't be able to fix that. I can't find any setting for it in the service menu. This is part of the Sony "design". I've looked at other 32fx66s in shops and they all seem to suffer the same horzontal bowing.

    However, if it's a vertical bowing effect then this can fixed.

    The main things i adjusted in the geometry menu were as follows:

    AFC BOW
    AFC ANGLE
    PINAMP
    UPCORNERPIN (maybe)
    LO CORNERPIN (maybe)

    I also combined this with the "Rotation" feature on the standard tv menu.

    If anyone does know how to fix the horizontal bowing then i'd appreciate knowing, not managed to fix it yet. I've got used to this minor defect in an otherwise superb TV.

    Write everything down before you change anything!
