    Help!

A mate recently bought a Sony KV28FX65 and when connecting DVD through 3 RCA to Scart into AV1, the right hand side of the picture is wavy - only really noticeable on Channel 4 though. (Reception is fine)

If he unplugs the scart it seems to clear the problem????!

The player is a Pioneer surround sound. When in standy the problem occurs but when the scart is unplugged from the tv it clears.

Is this a fault with the TV? Has anyone else noticed this?

Would connecting into another AV socket improve things?

I had the same TV connected to a Sony DVD player and did not notice this problem.

    Any advice appreciated.

Just guessing, but the DVD player Scart cable might be a cheap one with poor shielding? Is it a cheapo Scart cable?

It's an Ixos cable, and as the other channels are fine we eliminated it... it only occurs on Channel 4??!
