Before they disappear I have to bag one - blown away by the pics - and I speak as a member of the Guild of Professional TV cameramen!:smashin: Makes stuff look good!

Does it have any noisy fans?

Where is the best place to get one with a 5yr warranty? Think RGB direct will do one in person - out of the question though s they are too far. Thought John lewis beating Comet is as good as it gets at about £2.2k?

Finally is it really worth a grand over the Panasonic 50" esp with OLED out now (not that I like any LCD pictures - even the ones on my camera)!!!

Surely the largest OLED TV is 15", which is hardly comparable. Pioneer & Panasonic images are quite different; given your membership you'll likely appreciate the qualities of each. As for noise, some Pioneer plasmas much buzz. You can however adjust this with the TV's power saving mode.

Thanks TooDeep - guess I'm mixing up my LED's with my Organics!

I'm seeing a LED lit LCD screen today (as that is how I understand it works) and do not expect to be very impressed... They are cheaper than the Kuro though.

Lets see:cool:

Or like my Pioneer, you may get no buzz at all :)

You could have a look at TLC for a 5090, they had 5 left yesterday (Sunday) according to their online ordering. If you use the special offer for AVForums you should get a 5090, stand and speakers + 5 year warranty for less than £2000.
