Watched "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist" tonight. Very funny - highlights are the now infamous cow scene together with the opening scene (which is an absolute corker)!!!!
Probably won't appeal to anyone who hates martial arts movies since the movie is based on a 70s Hong Kong flick but they have very cleverly mixed in new footage (new scenes, plus new characters moving around in the background, plus the lead guy is not the original lead guy) and dubbed the existing movie.
There's a whole heap of extras on the disk, including the option to hear the original Chinese soundtrack and also to hear what the "new" American actors are actually saying (because they dubbed themselves too even though they were originally speaking English anyway - just so the lip movements would look different ) - the latter is almost as amusing as the movie proper
There are a good few deleted scenes on here as well, and I found an easter egg on page 1 of these but it's easy enough to find - it's on the right somewhere Selecting the "egg" leads you to an hilarious scene involving some interestingly synched body movements - I'll say no more but it made me laugh
There are also trailers, promos, and a "making of" documentary, plus some detailed features on the making of the cow scene.
Worth £11.99 IMO (@ Play, R1) - I shall be watching it again with a few mates in the near future
BTW, was shocked that the director also wrote/directed Patch Adams, a great movie, but hardly the same thing at all!
