Kudos to The Book Yard

Yesterday at about 4:30, I ordered an empty Newertech Mini Stack as a backup enclosure for my new Mac Mini and to my astonishment it arrived at my workplace around midday today.

What rare service in this day and age. I'm doing a Time Machine backup as I write this.

On this occasion, I can't recommend them highly enough.

At those prices I'm amazed they didn't come around to the home and install it too - 500Gb for £125! £94 for an empty v2.5 enclosure? Always wondered about buying this form factor even though I don't have a Mini but those prices are amazing.

Yeah, I completely agree the prices are crazy, but I thought with the built in hub and matching Mac Mini form factor, what the hell!

The drive I installed turned out to be noisy so I think I'm going to put a spare 2.5" drive in.
