    hi guys

my ku990, has a load of words added, abusives etc. which is fine

but for some reason it comes up with 47, not "is" and loads of other normal words are 5 down the list.

is there any way to remove T9 words, or format the dictionary all together. i have done a master reset but it doenst do anything.

its really annoyin me, asd has been for about 5 months, i need to sort it

    cheers for the help :lease:

    1) go to abc and type in "is" about 30 times
    2) go to predictive and type in "is" about 30 times

    problem solved

you can reset the t9 dictionary back to the factory by deleting a file called RecMangr.bin the firmware, but that will also reset everything else.

i had the same problem with words such as "28" instead of "at", "ul" instead of "uk" and some others.

the predictive texting goes by what you use the most frequently, so you can change the order of words that appear when you cycle through them by typing them in in abc mode many times repeatedly.

i don't recommend deleting RecMngr.bin file. i know it contains the t9 dictionary, but i dont know all the effects of deleting it. like most dataabses, the database will be automatically build up again when you switch your phone off then on again.
