Can any kind soul out there please assist me?

I have inadvertantly knackered some jpeg pictures taken on my camera, buy doing some kind of batch convert in Paintshop Pro version 7. They all reduced in size from their original 1.9Mb down to 300k / 400k on average.

They still have a .jpg extension but neither Paintshop Pro, Adobe Photoshop Elements or anything else recognises them or can open them.

I believe I have done something awful to them in the compression.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks - Paul

    just an idea,

Try removing the .jpg suffix. Start Paintshop (or similar) and try opening the file.

    No guarentee but sometimes works
