Originally announced at IFA and now available in the UK the Klipsch Mode M40 are the brand's first active noise cancelling design.

Klipsch reckon they're worth the £299 asking price for the 'high-grade' leather ear cups, active noise cancelling (ANC) and a 45 hour life from a single battery or use without battery as a stereo headphone.

A 40mm woofer provides the bass and midrange with an active crossover; there's a 15mm tweeter for the 'highs' and 2 detachable, Hi-Fi inspired cables that fit any device with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The M40's are constructed from the same materials used in high-end eyewear and cloth-covered cables like those used in premium, hi-fi systems. They feature an Apple-based mic and three-button remote system for taking calls and controlling music on iPods, iPhones or iPads.
