@thedude - respectfully decline your offer.

@Exemplar - I do indeed have an invoice / receipt for the item, it was sourced in the EU. The manufacturer's warranty is 5 years, had a quick look on their site and can't see any specific mention on whether it's transferable or not. Sure it'd be fine on warranty front, whose to say it isn't a gift, always willing to help if it comes to it....

    Sorry a few questions....

You mention is was sourced from the EU.. Could you expand on this as warranty is typically with the supplier? (I assume this means it was outside of the UK)

If so, what EU country and did it come with a standard UK plug or does it have an adapter and/or one now fitted?

    Thanks

    @thedude - duly noted.

@springtide - it came from lufthansa worldshop in Germany. Contacted both supplier and kitchen aid to clarify the warranty situation.
Not sure on plug, have yet to open it. If someone did want it would be happy to ensure it was supplied with a UK plug.

Thanks for the reply. You mention that you have contacted the supplier and Kitchenaid wrt warranty, but I guess you are still waiting for a response?

Sorry one more question.... what does the mixer come with?

After a bit of googling, I've seen some of the KitchenAid Artisan Mixer's come as a 'bundle' (stated as free gifts) that include a glass bowl (in addition to the metal bowl I assume?) as well as a digital scales... but it's unclear whether this is what you'd get anyway.....

Could you take a look at the packaging and confirm what you get with the mixer?

Thanks and sorry for all of the questions... :)

    Don't apologise!

Had a quick look in the box, it includes the metal bowl, splash guard and attachments.

It does have a continental plug but of course can install a UK plug. Interesting, did think the retailer were under obligation to ensure the correct plug is fitted for the region the item is sold in.

Indeed awaiting to hear back from kitchenaid and the supplier. The blank warranty card in the box would imply it can be registered in the UK.

I've been trying to figure out what would be an acceptable offer vs what the package would be worth to me... if that makes sense.....

With this in mind, I'd like to offer £290 delivered (PPG)

This is slightly better than what you've been offered above, but I understand this is still away from your asking. Looking online, the electric blue fetches a higher price tag... but for me colour is unimportant..

Anyway, I don't want to offend, but also seems pointless not putting my offer on the table.

I would assume that Kitchaid will honour the warranty, but as you stated above, you have offered to help out if there is an issue... but including a copy of the receipt would obviously be useful should you accept my offer.

Afraid £290 is too low, sorry.

Believe my asking price is very fair, not really looking to move much on it. For various reasons won't be able to list elsewhere for a few days - just in case you change your mind ;)

Warranty status has been confirmed by retailer. KitchenAid UK will honour warranty with proof of purchase.

I guess I should share my reasoning... but this is not a price comparison....

I can get a new one from:
KitchenAid Artisan Mixer With FREE Gifts

Price is £379 for various colour options and £415 for the blue.

Price includes delivery, extra glass bowl (worth £61) and a set of digital kitchen scales (£20).

This is obviously UK stock with 'UK buying protection' and my wife gets a choice of colours as we are not specifically looking for blue.

Can understand your reasoning, especially if your Mrs doesn't mind one of the more 'jazzy' colours.

Did this ever sell? I'm looking for one, but imagine it got sold elsewhere.
