    Hi everyone

    I'm about to start work on a 2 storey side extension to my house and was after some advice regarding possible AV set ups for the new kitchen (see plan attached)

    We mainly want to be able to watch TV and Sky with decent sound and also be able to play music using bluetooth. We don't really have the floor space to fit a subwoofer unfortunately.

    I'm therefore planning to;
    - wall mount a 49" TV
    - connect TV via HDMI ARC to a AVR hidden away in a storage cupboard next to the TV
    - connect a sky box via HDMI to the AVR
    - wall mount 2x bookshelf speakers high up in the corner of the room which I will wire into the AVR

    - what speakers would you guys recommend? they need to be compact and discrete please. I have seen on the forums that the JBL control ones may be suitable?
    - what do you think about the position of the speakers in this room? would ceiling speakers be better perhaps?
