I have the first film, but put off by buying this, because everything i've read suggests it's not a good film.

Loved the first movie. Saw this one at the cinema - and yes, it's utterly bonkers, but still fun. A bit messy maybe, but I still enjoyed it, although it's completely forgettable. I'd probably give the first movie 8/10, and this one 6.5/10. It would be a stretch for me to pay £25 for the UHD blu-ray though.

You can get the 2 movie collection from Apple for £17. Both come in 4K HDR for those with the 4K Apple TV.

Do appreciate your reviews I hope you don't me saying but your picture quality marks are starting to look a little generic so many with 9s now that just shouldn't be.

Definitely a 'Marmite' film; enjoyable when approached in the right frame of mind (turn your IQ down to one notch above drooling imbecile) otherwise a franchise killing turn-off, which is how it has been received. And then there's also that one scene that really should not have been allowed to make the final cut.

I must have seen a different movie, with regards to the first one. It's fun nonsense, but nothing more.

This was more of the same.

Watched it on the plane to the US yesterday (obviously not a big screen), but the movie was just bonkers with no real story to it. I can see why some would like it just for the sheer madness of it, but there's nothing to it.

Fun popcorn flick, popped in the standard Blu-ray after watching and wow the 4k had a nice uptick in detail but the most shocking thing was how dull the colours looked and how flat the lighting looked compared to the 4k and hdr.

Because it was so OTT. It was random and loved the fight choreography. The stroyline isn't anything special. I have watched this three times now and the 2nd and third was just to show a friend the intro, yet found myself watching until the end. I also loved Elton's random role in the film and almost stupidity of it.

Maybe it's just me, I love randomly bad movies.

Because it's fun which doesn't take itself seriously. If you didn't like the first one there is nothing for you here. But if you did like the first one don't let negative reviews put you off this sequel.

Great comic book fun with some rather good PQ and sound on the UHD as well. While I initially missed Samual Jackson's villain from the first one, Julianne Moore did a good alternate over the top one too. I'll never look at a hamburger the same way again...

Our Man Flint rather than James Bond or Jason Bourne suits me fine. And action wise it was great not to have the jerky shaky cam of Bourne type filming but instead the same fluid style of the first Kingsman with long continuous takes where you could actually see what was happening without getting a headache.

The UHD's HDR, colour and detail makes the blu-ray a very drab affair by comparision. A big thumbs up from me...

      Review:
38 minutes to be precise which isn't that long at all given how much of the rest of the movie he is in.

£16.99 from Sky for the 4k d/l and the 4k disc in the post. I loved the first film for it's quirkiness, but I dl'd the film last week and still haven't watched it yet! Maybe that's a sign...

Still don’t understand why people think it looks good??

The horrible distortion/aberration and harsh bokeh completely ruined what could have been great

      Robbed the detail

Watched the UHD last night. Fully equal to the first which was pretty decent all round. Don't understand why this got so criticised at the cinema (and made me skip it) - just more of the same. 7/10 for me, you needed to like the first one, otherwise nothing here to redeem or improve on it.

Watched this on Friday, missed it at the cinema due to the poor reviews and I'm a bit more selective of what I watch these days due to other audience members usually ruining the experience by talking or using their phones. I quite enjoyed it for what it was, a fun, action filled, pop-corn movie that was easy viewing for me and the Mrs on a Friday night after a long busy week at work!

Carried over a lot of the charm from the first one but not with quite as much success but it was decent viewing and I reckon an IMAX viewing would've been a treat.

Disc looks and sounds great, moreso the latter, but there was a lot of lense distortion and blur at the bottom of the screen that I noticed.

Loved the first, this one less so, kind of like GOTG1 Vs 2. UHD was a mixed bag for me. Some scenes looked great, others quite soft. Colours generally very good. Did notice the anamorphic lens 'problems' though .
