    Yaaasssssssss!!!!!! I still have the French DVD Special Edition which wasn't the best with no English subs for the French bits.

    I still have the Hong Kong laserdisc with all sorts of subtitles all over the screen. Time to upgrade I think!

    Arrived today. Worst transfer I've ever seen....ever. Looks like it came straight from a VHS tape including hard coded subtitles.

    Although the Uk BD still sounds like an upgrade, I think I'll pass this time.

    Agreed. Absolutely awful transfer and really not worth watching. The French disc had a great picture quality but no English subs for the French languages parts........frustrating.

    I'm absolutely positive that this is the same master that Polygram used back in the 1990's. I had that VHS of the movie and the hard coded subtitles look exactly the same.

    The hard coded subtitles even wobble around on the screen!!!
