I noticed this a few days ago when I was looking around their site so I thought I would post it here. I dont know if its a good price or not but for £35.75 you get the Uncut releases of Kill Bill Volume 1 and 2 in a Boxset and that price includes shipping. I have also heard that they are customs friendly so if you dont have Kill Bill this isnt a bad deal as they have the films listed seperately at £22.48 each including shipping so you save £9.21 buying them in the Boxset.

    Not true.

    Quote:
The Japanese cut of the movie is more violently explicit than the American R-rated version.

Quentin Tarantino prepared a more graphic version of the film for Asian audiences. Only a few minutes longer, the film includes several extra violent moments, a longer animated sequence, and the entire House Of Leaves battle in color, rather the black and white used in the U.S. R-rated edition.

In addition to reincorporating several violent shots, the uncut Japanese print of the film replaces the "Old Klingon Proverb" found in the US print with a dedication to the late Kinji Fukusaku.

The theatrical release included a flashback showing that Sofie Fatale (Julie Dreyfus) was also present during the attack on the wedding chapel which is deleted from the DVD release.

In most Asian prints of the film, for the scene at the end where The Bride is threatening Sophie, the audience can actually see Sophie's arm being cut off. In the North American release, there is only the audio for this as the scene fades to Sophie at the hospital.

Mine was shipped yesterday. £36.45 after barclaycard take their cut.

Lets hope there are no customs issues when it is supposed to be VAT free.

According to threads on different forums from people who've received and checked their R2J KB2's, the Japanese dvd is actually longer by a minute or so.
My box hasn't arrived yet, so can't check myself.
