Can I ask what this would cost?

Also can somone confirm this takes the RGB feed a DVD player to a crt projector. Sorry if it's a silly question.

PM Gordon @ Convergent AV for prices.
It takes the Component signal from the DVD player and convert it to RGBhv out on VGA.
I have one that I use from a Denon DVD3800 to a Panasonic PT AE100 and it works like a charm.:smashin:

It takes the YPrPb signal of anything and turns it in to RGBHV signal of same resolution and frequency. I have no stock at present. If you want one fast I believe Roland@ B4 or Henry@ CRT Projectors may have them from stock

    Thanks,

    Gordon

I havn't actually bought a projector yet; in the process of saving for one.

i have my eye on one of Rolands; should be able to afford it in two months. The name of the projector is Emily and it shows a picture run straight form a DVD player using one of these.

I'm trying to find out how much more I have to save.

I'm dying to get my hands on this; just hope somone doesn't beat me to it.

    Hi.

I thought the component input needed to be progressive to enable the Key Digital Transcoder to convert it to RGB on VGA.

Correct me if I am wrong.

If it works with interlaced signals as well, it would be a very useful tool!

    regards FRANC

Well, I've used it with JVC30,000 D-VHS tape deck. This outputs its on screen graphics at 480i. It works. So I'd suggest that the answer is.....yes.
