Kevin Pieterson - the magnificence of arogance.

Scored 149 not out last night. Hammering some of the worlds best bowlers around the ground. Then out today without adding a single more run (2nd ball i think)!

That's KP all over.

Frustrating isn't he?

Extremely. Out early again today.

I don't think he should be playing at all. He pulled out of the short form of the game to chase money and should have been dropped for all forms.

It's understandable that players retire from test cricket to try and extend their playing career but there's no excuse for what Pieterson did.

It was a good innings mind

I shall repectfully disagree.

As a spectator, I want to see him play.

As an Englishman, I want the best players in the team.

He is a difficult character and must be a nightmare to manage, but that's what managers are paid for.

They should have found a way to work with him IMO.

Well if the rumours are true, he might not even be playing in next week's test!
I hope for the sake of the team and us as spectators he continues to be picked and/or doesn't retire. If the stuffy old traditionalists at the ECB changed their policy and allowed him to play just T20 and tests I can't see there being a problem, still it wasn't so long ago KP said he wanted to be remembered as one of the best one day players of his time and would work hard for it, wonder what happened to make him give up on it?
Mind you, it's not like he has a smooth history with the ECB is it?

Just seen 3 of the tweets on the BBC (don't do Twitter) and they are pretty funny :)

Dropped for the next test despite a self made "apology" video posted on YouTube yesterday. Sorry to say he's made a bit of a **** of himself recently imo.

I can as it would open the floodgates for others to follow suit and the one day game would effectively be killed off.

Incidentally the one stuffy traditionalist that refuses to have KP in a 20/20 side if he refuses to play ODI cricket is Andy Flower who is neither stuffy nor a traditionalist

How old is Peterson?? 10,12?

Talking to the S. African team after coming off, rather than with his team mate and then slagging him off in front of the rest of the dressing room.

You have a great talent, but please grow up:thumbsdow
