Kenwood Omni 7 speakers

Tidying the loft and found my old omni 7 speakers (like new), so question is are they any use nowadays in a 5.1\7.1 setup.

And as has been asked, how many do you have?

I would think they would make very good rear surround speakers, but I don't have any real sense of how big they are. And they would probably make tolerable front speakers in a multi-way surround system.

I'm assuming the speakers are only slightly larger than these Omni 5's -

HI thanks for the replies i have 2 of them and at the moment i am running MA B2's as fronts ()bi-amped ) a bronze centre and a pair of bfx's as surrounds and a sony strda1200es

Assuming the Omni's are not physically or electrically damage, it should be easy enough to try them in the rear.
