Hi folks, I have a Kenwood Midi M-33 with a DP-730 CD Player, P-43 Turntable and a newer GE-940 Graphic Equilizer. All the units came together except for the Graphic Equilizer. I have wired up all the units correctly and they all worked fine until adding the Equilizer, I now have no sound unless I turn the amp up to max, and then there is faint sound.
The Equilizer turns on and the display and buttons all work as they should, but there doesn't seem to be any music from the input as the graphics don't register anything.
Can anyone tell me where to look for the problem?

Thanks in advance for your help. 🙂

Have you fitted all system cables. With these systems an accessory like the GE connects to the RCA sockets in the back of the amp that are usually shorted with special link plugs when the GE isn't fitted. The links are removed and stored to allow the GE connection. I have a M94 system. Without those links......no sound. The max O/P position sound is bleed over through another route,.
