I have just bought this DVD player and there doesn't appear to be any information on it anywhere. I specificaly want to know if there is a remote hack to play multi-region DVDs. I've also read that Kenwoods are a clone of another company's players - does anyone know which company ?

    Thanks.

    Dominic.

I am having similar problems with a Blaupunkt chicago dvd system in my car which was purchased in the U.S. and of course its a region 1. I have been doing research into getting it hacked, and have even enquired to blaupunkt themselves to find out if its able to be "adjusted" to be multi-region.
The only thing Blaupunkt said to me, was that their player was based upon a Kenwood dvd player...which would point to the fact that your player is possibly a clone with mine.
