    Hi everyone,
I'm attempting to hook up my Toshiba SQPB and Kenwood VR357.
I have my satellite box connected to the Kenwood with the optical cable and the surround works fine.
I'm trying to connect the Toshiba vcr/dvd player to the Kenwood with rca cables. I get the video to the tv but there is no audio out of my speakers.
I can get the audio from the dvd to the tv using rca cables.
What am I doing wrong that I can't get audio from the Toshiba to the Kenwood to my speakers?
    Thanks,
    David

    p.s. I hope I explained this correctly.

I got it. Had to use the optical cable from the satellite box.
