Might be in wrong place but can't find a PC section. Thinking about Kef wireless egg for my PC speakers £349, however, I see Sevenoaks sound has Q acoustics 2010i speakers for £100. Am I better off with the Kefs or get the Q speakers and a DAC? Any recommendations would be great thanks.

With the q acoustics I believe they are passive, so you would need an amp +/- a DAC if using digital PC outputs. That's more boxes! You may well get a better sound with separate components (eg the q acoustics speakers with a Marantz 6005 amp) but it will occupy more space.

Ah OK thanks - DAC-AMP-Speaker, didn't think of that. does anybody have a PC to speaker alternative to the KEF wireless egg? Budget of course is then £349 or less.

AE Aego M are pretty good. Any small active really. Most will take a cable from the motherboard or soundcard.
