i am looking to buy a centre that will fit a gap of 445mm (oppli Stand) the kef q6c fits but how would that compare to my mission v6c? i am also looking to buy some floorstanding speakers to go with it how would the q4 compare to the mission v62? also i prefer the look of the kef Q range but i want the best sound qualitiy over looks, is are there any other speakers i could/should consider in a similar price range?

    cheers lee

Quite a few dealers sell both rangs so finding a demo of both shouldn't be too hard. Having said that the mission m5 and v6 range seem to be on sale now, maybe a new range is soon to come out so you could pick up some bargins if you like the sound.

mission have gone into administration havent they? i already have the v6c and v60 standmount but the v6c is a gap of 480mm if i keep the v6c i have to keep my plamsa on the wall but wont be able have floorstanders if i have a smaller centre i can put the tv on the unit, put the centre in the unit and move it over so i can fit the floorstanding speakers at the side, as it is now the unit is right up tp the wall
there is a superfi near me im going to try but wanted to see if there is anything else i can consider and get other peoples views on the speakers

    cheers lee

Sorry i can't visulise the physical problem your having with the centre, is it too dig, high or what? I think what your saying is that the centre doesn't fit into your unit so you have to put it on the top, thus your tv has to be wall mounted restricting you from using floorstanders (there is not enough room on one side?).

    yes that pretty much it

in the oppli the centre section has a gap of 445mm wide but my v6c is 480mm wide so it wont fit and at the moment it is on top of the unit with the plasma above the speaker on the wall, the oppli unit is right upto the wall on the right hand side, if i move the unit with the centre speaker on top it would mean i have to move the plasma across the wall as well as it wont be inline,
i want floorstanding speakers so i want to put my tv on to the oppli stand so i can move it across and then i can fit a speaker on the right hand side

    cheers lee

hi sorry its beech, i would be willing to sell when i have sorted a new centre
    cheers lee
