I'm wanting to upgrade my Mission m7ds side speakers to either the Kefs or M&Ks. Is there much to choose between these 2 speakers or is there anything else I should be looking at in the £300-£500 range?

    Cheers

One thing I would say about the TDMs, they are fabulous but do go and look at a set first, they are suprisingly big. Can't give an opinion on which to buy as I've not heard the others.

Cheers Mark. I'd heard they were big but hopefully they won't be as much of a shock as when I first saw my pj!!

I upgraded from Mission M7DS to M&K K4 and the improvement was quite drastic, especially for multi channel music.

Unfortunately I have M&K front speakers and I don't know how much of the improvement is down to a closer tonal match and how much is due to the general in quality which isn't much help to you.

The new price of TDM's is 699.99.
Very occasionally thry go secondhand for around 400.00

they are not an overly kind load and like a bit of grunt. they are very forgiving of tonal equalites and will fit more or less seemlessly with many (quality) front speakers.
